Description

This is a rich, dense, purified natural iron oxide. You may have heard the term ‘synthetic oxide”, and wonder what that is. It’s essentially a natural iron salt that is purified (minerals underground come with naturally occurring minerals/metals that aren’t healthy to the human body such as lead, arsenic, and mercury), and then oxidized in a lab setting to create the various shades of yellow, orange, read, and black that you see available online.

This red is a wam/orange-toned red. If you wish to create a cooler red, you can blend in a cool-toned red 50/50 or with whatever ratio of pigment you want to create your own blend in your lab or workshop.
