Description
This is a richly pigmented violet matte powder, with a soft, clay-like texture. It is safe and approved for use on lips, and can help you build violet-purple shades into your lip pigment blend inventory.
Manganese Violet comes in a variety of shades and saturations. We distribute the highest tier of saturation, and this is reflected both in our price, as well as in your finished product. The less saturated versions of Manganese Violet require a much higher concentration of powder in the formula, so you truly get what you pay for with this pigment!
The undertone of this version of Manganese Violet is more on the pink side. We also carry a more purple-toned Manganese Violet, also showing up at the highest level of pigmentation in your formulas.
This pigment does not survive the lye process in soap-making, and will turn more of a greyish tone. It will keeps it’s true tone in melt and pour lipsticks, glosses, and lip balms, as well as in other melt and pour items.
Try using Manganese Violet blended with Semi-Fine Scarlet Mica
Another beautiful pigment to blend in with this gorgeous lady is Interference Violet Mica
This will create a very cool (meaning cool in color language!) violet lip product with a little more body. Manganese Violet is a clay-based pigments, and lacks the substance needed to create an even texture. Adding high quality fine micas gives a leg up to your final lip product.
Added to blush and eye shadow formulas, this will lend a cool tone, especially helpful for cheeks products for women with golden or olive undertones.
