Micronized Zinc Oxide is referred to as ‘invisible zinc’. Ideal as an extender in foundations, especially for medium-dark skin tones, since it doesn’t leave a whitish cast. This filler should be combined with others, such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, and serecite or silica. May also be used in color cosmetics such as shadows and blushes.

Micronized zinc oxide is a creamy, transparent UVA/UVB blocker. Use it in lotions, balms, lip products or foundations to provide sunscreen properties. It must be evenly suspended to function safely for the user.
