Description

Monave Natural Zinc Oxide is a soft, white pigment with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as UVB and UVA blocking capabilities. It is a warmer white than Titanium Dioxide, however, it is not as thick or creamy, so it provides less coverage in a foundation formula. It is advisable to combine 50% zinc oxide, and 50% titanium dioxide to make up the white pigment in your foundation formulas. This balances the positives of the two pigments.

For darker foundations, it is recommended to exclusively use Zinc Oxide, because of the cool tint that Titanium Dioxide has.
